Support Edith Ann's Fight in Boston

Donation protected
This is my cousin Stephanie Brophy’s daughter, Edith Ann. She recently suffered from an acute infection stemmed from the flu. This lead to septic shock which started attacking her organs. Early February, she was flown from Albany Med out to Boston Children's Hospital for more comprehensive care and management. From the explanation we received from the Dr’s, when the body is attacked like this, the blood starts pumping to the vital organs to protect them. Unfortunately, the limbs are usually sacrificed. This caused the amputation of both feet and both hands. The team of doctors in Boston are doing their best, but Edi remains in intensive care. Doctors have indicated she has a long road to recovery and will likely remain hospitalized for a couple of months or more. Please help us support the family to cover travel expenses while staying in Boston. All donations will be proceeded directly to Edi's family to assist them during this tragic and difficult time. Your kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated, as are your prayers for a full recovery for Edith Ann!
