Support Eduardo Veloz's Long Road to Recovery
Donation protected
On January 17th, Eduardo Veloz was brutally assaulted while commuting home from work. After stopping for gas, he was suddenly struck on the head and beaten by seven men, who also stole his work truck.
Mr. Veloz received immediate medical attention at Temple Hospital, undergoing a three-hour surgical procedure to remove a portion of his skull and alleviate brain swelling. While the surgery was successful, Mr. Veloz's recovery will be lengthy and arduous. The reattachment of his skull will take six months, and subsequent physical therapy will necessitate at least a year's absence from work.
Eduardo Veloz is a devoted family man. His primary concern is providing for his family. Eduardo has three children and his fiancée, Victoria, to care for. His inability to work will undoubtedly present significant challenges.
Eduardo is a member of Steamfitters Local Union 420. Let us come together to support him during this difficult time, allowing him to focus on his recovery.
