Support Edward's Fight Against Lymphoma

Posting on behalf of my brother-in-law. Testimony:

My name is Edward Alan Sam. I am 43 years old, married to a loving wife, and a devoted father to two boys, aged 10 and 7, whom I love with all my heart. In December 2023, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (DLBCL non-germinal center subtype). The disease had spread extensively to my vertebrae and bone marrow. To combat it, I underwent six rounds of chemotherapy, along with five radiation sessions on my lower back to prevent the disease from spreading to my spinal cord, which was at risk of compression. Additionally, I received 20 radiation sessions on my right inguinal node.

Shortly after completing radiation on July 18, 2024, I was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome, which affected both of my legs. I was urgently hospitalized and underwent five sessions of plasma exchange therapy to halt its progression.

While being treated for this, I began experiencing severe pain in my head and neck. My doctors recommended an MRI of my brain and a PET scan. On August 26, 2024, our worst fears were confirmed: new lesions had developed in the brain parenchyma, specifically in the pituitary stalk and left frontal lobe. My oncologists at Ziauddin Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan, have recommended another six cycles of chemotherapy to prevent the disease from spreading further, particularly to my brain. This treatment will last for three more months, during which I will need to stay in the hospital for nearly 12 days each month for close monitoring.

These treatments are extremely costly, and I urgently need help to raise funds for my medical expenses. I am trying to stay strong during this difficult time, but it is heartbreaking to see my family suffering each day because of my condition.
