Help us honor her wishes as we prepare for her passing

the time has come to let everyone know that mom is beginning her final transition

she was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in May 2024 and it has now progressed to the point where we are being told she has days left

Many of you know and love my mom Eileen Kolaitos

also known as Momma, aka Mrs Kolaitos aka Pidgie

She has been a staple of the UWS for 50 years! She moved to 83rd street in November of 1969 and never left

but when we lost our apartment in 2018 our lives were turned upside down and things fell through the cracks one of them being her life insurance

we thought it was being paid but it turns out that it wasn’t

Our goal is to raise enough money to honor her wishes of being buried in South Dakota

next to her grandmother and to have a memorial service here and there as well

She wanted her granddaughters to see South Dakota so we are hoping to be able to take them as well

So please whatever you can contribute, know that it will be used to make her final wishes a reality
