Support elderly couple after house fire

Hi, we are a local residence group based in Lower Shankill of Belfast. A local elderly couple recently have had a very horrific experience, they went to prepare food and as they turned on the cooker and extractor fan, this exploded into the 74 year old woman's face. The kitchen caught fire and with the neighbours support the 74 year old woman and her 83 year old husband were able to escape. Watching their home on fire from the outside has been traumatising for both husband and wife.

Currently this elderly couple with mobility issues are homeless.

It has been suggested that they could be homeless for 6 weeks+. They are being provided temporary accommodation that involves moving between hotels on a daily basis. As you can imagine this is extremely difficult for an elderly couple with mobility issues. As a group we are asking for any donation you can provide, however small as this will support Sammy and Mary rebuild there home and lives.
