Support Elgin Road Warriors' Journey to Jr Olympics

Over the years, we used GoFundMe to help with the cost for some Elgin Road Warriors to compete at the AAU Jr Olympics, and with great success, we were able to help them compete at the games. So to all the Elgin Community, family, and friends, your ERW runners are asking for your help again. This year, the AAU Jr Olympics is in Greensboro, NC.

Your Elgin Road Warriors are the three time AAU Northern Illinois Track & Field Team Champions (2024, 2023, and 2022). They were also the AAU Central District Track & Field Club of the Year (2023) and are coached by the AAU Central Illinois and AAU Regional Coach of the Year (Coach U). They also had great success at IHSA (high school level) and IESA (middle school level) track and field this year as we had 18 qualified for state and brought home 27 state medals.

So, your ERW runners will be ready for the Jr Olympics they just need your help to get there. Funds raised will help cover travel expenses such as room and board as well as the possible rental of a 15-passenger vehicle and special uniforms for nationals. Join us in supporting this amazing team and their mentor, Coach Jose Uriostegui, as they push beyond their boundaries and try new events, often discovering and developing hidden talents.
