Support Eli Biton's Journey to the PNW

If you're receiving this note, it's because you have been part of a recent LC3 trip to Israel and experienced the blessing of having Eli Biton as your tour guide. Along with the unbelievable sites of Israel, most if not all of us would also count Eli's warmth, humor, and friendliness as a highlight of the tour. For many years, we have been inviting Eli to come to the PNW on vacation, but his tour duties have always made it difficult to schedule a visit. However, the current war in Israel has freed up his schedule. We are in conversation with Eli right now about scheduling a visit to WA during the last 2 weeks of August. (Pencil in Aug. 16-26 as likely dates)

Here is where all you as official members of the Eli Biton Fan Club come in:

- We are looking for 2-3 people willing to host him in their home for several nights during his visit to take care of housing costs

- We will be lining up lunch/dinner invites to take care of meal costs

- Given Eli is not currently able to lead any tours, financially the only way he would be able to visit is if we cover the cost for his airfare. Tickets are approximately $2100-2400. We have set up this GoFundMe in order to visibly monitor donations towards the ticket costs and make donations easier (without involving LC3).

Our plans for Eli while he is here is to give him some freedom to tour any parts of WA he is interested in. In addition, we will be scheduling time after weekend services (pencil in Aug. 24) for him to share with folks at LC3 about Israel so that a wider audience can experience his personality.

Thank you for anything you can do to be part of bringing Eli to WA. He was more than a tour guide for many of us; he was genuinely a friend and brother in Christ. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
