Support Elias Garcia's Fight Against Cancer

Elias Garcia, one of our amazing, self-less and thoughtful pastors, has been diagnosed with Small cell carcinoma of the prostate. This is a rare and aggressive type of prostate cancer that affects less than 1% of men. Elias is starting chemotherapy at the Texas Cancer Center and has a hard, long and expensive battle ahead of him. Elias came on board as the associate pastor at Southland Baptist Church in Spring of 2022. From the moment he arrived, Elias jumped in and has been involved with nearly every ministry and church activity, if the church doors are open, Elias is there lending a helping hand. God put Elias on this earth to minister to others, now it’s time for us to show him how much he is loved and appreciated. We know he has touched the lives of many people throughout the different churches he’s pastored.
