Support for The Child’s Family After Devastating Tragedy

Tragedy hit the Child’s family this holiday season!

The afternoon after Christmas, Kim’s brother (Andrew) and Father (John) came over to her apartment to help construct some of the toys for Kim’s five year old son (age 5) received from Santa. Kim’s estranged husband (Darius) made entry into her apartment and took the lives of Kim, Andrew, and John. Darius then took their son to his own apartment across town. The reported vehicle was tracked to the apartment. When the officers arrived Darius stepped out of his apartment and safely surrendered the child to the officers and shot himself. The traumatic events this boy witnessed are unbelievably devastating.

David (brother and son to the deceased) and his wife Kaeley currently have custody and will be caring for their child indefinitely. They have three elementary children of their own and have been trying their best to navigate through the grieving process and what is best for these children.
