Hi, my name is Jodie. I’m making this fundraiser for my son, Elijah.

Elijah is my hero! He has worked very hard throughout all of his educational years.

He has received many awards & scholarships for all his hard work.

On May 18, 2024, Elijah will be graduating from Miami University with his Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree as a

-Double Major: Biology & Organizational -Leadership & a Minor: Medical Sociology

his schooling involvement also includes

-Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Scholar

-Alpha Kappa Delta - International Honor Society of Sociology

-Research: Gender Dynamics in Eating Disorders: The Intersectionality of Health and Organizational Influence

as you can tell he has worked VERY hard! Most of his schooling has been paid with his own money, hard earned scholarships and whatever I could help with.

His senior year of high school was in 2020, (due to corona virus) he never got to walk the stage, go to prom, get his moment of hard earned recognition for all his work.

I want to make this up to him and let him know how proud we all are of him.

Instead of graduation presents, I’m asking friends & family to kindly pull together and help chip in for this amazing kiddo. The money here will help Elijah have a little relief from financial school depts, get him set up for his future, help him with future medical schooling and give him a much needed break in between.

It has been an incredible to watch Elijah grow into the man he is today. He has been up against a lot throughout his life. I am honored to be his mother. Thank you for all the love any support you all have given him
