Support Elise's Healing Journey

To know Elise Sanders is to know a human that embodies genuine love and care for others. Her quick wit, sense of humor, love of all things Halloween, and devotion to rescuing cats are some of the special quirks we all love about her.

Elise is a friend who is willing to jump in when you are in need. Many of us have benefitted from having her friendship in our lives. However, now is a time that she needs some help from us, her community.

As most of you know, Elise was diagnosed with breast cancer on August 27th and met with a list of treatment options. Of those, she has decided to pursue a bilateral mastectomy and reconstructive surgery.

Her scheduled date of surgery is November 19. Recovery from this procedure is long and she will be on leave from work for at least 8 weeks.

Many of you have asked how you can help, and one of the ways to help would be considering financial donation to aid her in her time off from work. As a therapist in private practice, who is self-employed, this diagnosis and surgery was unforeseen.

Any donation would be a tremendous help to relieve the financial burden of having to unexpectedly miss two months of income in addition to accrued medical bills.

A donation will give her the gift of time to heal and rest.
