Support Elissa and family

This is our friend Elissa. Elissa is a mum to 4 beautiful children and wife to Tony. Elissa and her family first struck unfortunate times in 2020 when Tony was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Hodgkins Lymphoma, a type of blood Cancer. Following surgery and chemotherapy and a long recovery, Tony is now Cancer free and getting back to full health hugely aided by the support of his loving wife Elissa and her commitment to helping him to recover.

Unfortunately, Elissa’s own journey with Cancer began in October 2022 when she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer. This came as a huge shock to her and the family and since then she has encountered numerous surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, countless scans and so many days of waiting and praying.

Despite the surgeries and treatment, the Cancer has returned and Elissa faces a huge surgery in the coming months, where the recovery will likely be up to 12 months.

Many that know her may not be aware that she has been going through any of this. This is because she has handled her challenges over the past 2 years with grace and humour and humility. Despite her pain and ongoing battle, she continues to focus on the needs of her family as priority.

Elissa is doing everything she can to help heal her body and is exploring all therapeutic and medical avenues. These unfortunately come with huge financial costs and this is why we are asking for help to support her and the family through this challenging time.

Our goal is to raise enough money to support Elissa and her family with significant ongoing medical costs, medications and therapies and allow some reprieve from mortgage and everyday living costs on her journey to recovery.

Elissa is an amazing friend and mother, and her only prayer is to be healed and healthy so that she can watch her precious children grow up.
