Support Ellenbrook Teen seriously injured in accident
Donation protected
By now many of you are aware that Yesterday, a tragic accident in Ellenbrook left young Deagan Alone fighting for his life.
Thanks to the quick actions of a passerby, a mother of his friend Tiarna and the Hall family, who bravely applied pressure to his wounds and assisted until EMS arrived, Drs have told Deagan’s beautiful mum Casey that these actions saved his life and had they not been provided he would not have survived, his family are eternally grateful to all who rendered assistance.
He was rushed to hospital, where he underwent extensive surgery overnight.
He is now in a serious but stable condition, but the journey ahead remains frighteningly uncertain. Doctors are closely monitoring him for head, spinal, and other serious injuries and he will require further treatment with more surgeries in the days to come.
Deagan is an extremely Talented Football and Basketball Player who is proudly part of the Ellenbrook Dockers JFC, Clontarf academy and BINAR Basketball Association, we are all desperate to see him recover and get back to doing what he loves.
Deagan's family is now facing the overwhelming task of supporting his lengthy recovery, which will involve multiple surgeries to reconstruct his facial and dental injuries as well as any other injuries they uncover in the coming days.
This fundraiser is a chance to give Deagan and his family some relief from the financial strain and allow them to focus on helping him heal, being so close to Christmas this is an enormous struggle for many without such heartbreaking events on top so I hope we can all get behind this wonderful Family and support them in this long Journey.
With your support we will ensure every donation goes directly to his Mum Casey to put toward medical expenses not covered by public health(scar reduction down the track etc), rehabilitation (once discharged he will need support in the community with his rehab at his families cost), travel exspenses(parking, purchase of food for his mum while she lives in hospital with him), future dental reconstruction(this may go long into his adult years and he deserves the best care) and any other supports Deagan and his beautiful family may need on his road to recovery.
Despite the common misconception that public health covers everything in cases like this, that simply is not the case and there are ALOT of incidental costs that are incurred when your child has a lengthy stay in hospital and being able to provide any small level of support to this beautiful family is exactly what we are trying to do.
Please join us in supporting Deagan, his mum, and his family through this incredibly challenging time.
We love you Deagan Get well soon!
Much Love Mr & Mrs Wombat and the Entire community.
