Support Ellie Bentley on Her Road to Recovery

On February 25th, Ellie Bentley became an innocent victim of a hit and run car accident in The Grove neighborhood of St. Louis. Ellie is currently in ICU at a St. Louis area hospital. She is in the USA on a work visa and her parents made it to the hospital within 48 hours of the accident.

Since the incident, she has undergone 5 major reconstructive surgeries and will have additional operations in the near future. Her rehabilitation program will be extensive and require significant financial investments. Community support will be critical to ensure she receives the level of care necessary for her recovery and continue to cover the increasing expenses of everyday life like rent, food, transportation costs, etc. These financial hardships are compounded by Ellie and her family's non-American citizenship.

Ellie is extremely bright, graduating with a joint honors degree in Mathematics and Physics. Her intelligence is only outmatched by the positive impact she has on those around her. Even though she only moved to the US within the last year, Ellie has touched the lives of many in St. Louis with her kind heart, generosity, charisma, and fantastic sense of humor.
