Help Ellie Young's Family Fight for Her Justice
Donation protected
Ellie was taken from us too soon. A beautiful soul inside and out, Ellie dedicated her life towards serving others, and was well on her way to becoming an incredible physician.
At just 22 years old, Ellie had recently graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin in May, and had only just began her journey to become a physician at the UTHSC College of Medicine in August.
She had long been a leader to her fellow classmates and community at both schools, being a member of the Chi Omega sorority and Scholar's Program at Martin and was elected to her Class Council at UTHSC shortly before her life was ended far too soon.
On October 19th, Ellie was the victim of a senseless act of violence. After a long week of studying to become a doctor, she decided to spend her weekend participating in a Breast Cancer Awareness walk, which ended in her tragic murder.
The world will no longer have the chance to see all the Ellie will become, and the people she would have helped one day will no longer be saved by her brilliant mind and unparalleled compassion all due to the cruel actions of a person who could not stand to see her thrive.
Ellie was sunshine. And with your help, we will never let her light go out.
Please join me in supporting Ellie's family during this dark time, and help fight for #JusticeforEllie as we ensure this will never be allowed to happen again.
Ellie deserves justice. And further donations will help her family get that justice as they begin on the long road ahead with the legal system.
Thank you for your continued support, and going forward we ask that you #LiveLikeEllie: with kindness, resilience, and a pure love for the world and the people she was so passionate about helping one day.
Together we can make a difference, just like Ellie was going to do.
