Our story:

It is very difficult to say that we have lost everything, it is like a recurring nightmare that we live every day. We have lost our beautiful and peaceful life and our warm and safe home. Our dreams of a bright and promising future have been shattered.

My family's tragic story began at the beginning of the ground invasion of Beit Hanoun. The Israeli army asked us to leave and evacuate to the southern Gaza Strip. I walked with my family under the bombing to the city of Rafah and left my home and all their belongings behind me, and important papers. The next morning, I started a new life full of hardships. Living in tents that do not protect from the cold or the high temperatures that brought us skin diseases and winter. The blankets we left behind were destroyed by the occupation, and hunger, poverty and bombing. We were displaced again after the occupation of Rafah and a new displacement to the center of Gaza, where we suffer a harsh and difficult life that does not contain all the necessities of life.
