Support Emilia Banse, RN, MSN, EMHSA, PMHNP-BC, Our Local Mental Health Hero

Dear Walton County Community

I’m Todd Roark, a local Walton County resident attempting to help a fellow resident, I call hero, in a time of desperate need.

I am reaching out to our community to support one of our own, Emilia Banse, a true hero in our midst. Emilia has dedicated her life to helping others, tirelessly providing mental health support to countless residents, active duty military personnel, veterans, and many more who have struggled with PTSD and other mental health issues. Emila is an Air Force veteran, and is the driving force behind her desire to help the military community.

Now, Emilia is facing her own battles. Severe medical issues and numerous surgeries have led to the removal of her gallbladder and bladder, and she is navigating additional personal challenges that are impacting her business and ability to afford housing. This is an extremely difficult chapter in her life, and she needs our support more than ever.

For those of us who have had the privilege of knowing Emilia, we understand the depth of her compassion and the impact she has made in our lives. She has been a guiding light in dark times, a beacon of hope when all seemed lost. Emilia is not just a healthcare provider; she is a guardian angel to many of us.

I, personally, can attest to the life-changing impact Emilia has had. Most know of my battle with severe PTSD and OCD, and when traditional medications and doctors failed me, Emilia was there, offering solace and support when I needed it most. She helped me regain control of my life, and for that, I will be forever grateful. I’m just one of many she has rescued.
