Support Emilio's Journey Home and Resting Place

Hello, my name is Juanita Avila, representing Emilio Jimenez, whose life was tragically cut short when he was brutally murdered at the young age of 23 on Sept. 16. He came here for the American dream, knowing he would be all on his own in a different country in the hopes of supporting his family back in Guatemala.

Having no family here, we’re asking for the help of the community and all his friends for funding the expenses to send Emilio back home to Guatemala to be with his family and have a proper burial for him to rest in peace. Thank you for your donations; it will be sent to his family. We are forever grateful.

Hola, mi nombre es Juanita Ávila, representando a Emilio Jiménez, cuya vida se interrumpió trágicamente cuando fue brutalmente asesinado a la temprana edad de 23 años el 16 de septiembre. Llegó aquí por el sueño americano, sabiendo que estaría solo en un país diferente con la esperanza de mantener a su familia en Guatemala.

Al no tener familia aquí, estamos pidiendo la ayuda de la comunidad y de todos sus amigos para financiar los gastos para enviar a Emilio de vuelta a casa a Guatemala para estar con su familia y tener un entierro adecuado para que descanse en paz.
