Support Emily Palmer

On July 10th, Emily underwent a successful anterior and posterior rectocele and cystocele repair. Three days later on July 13th, she was experiencing intractable abdominal pain; assuming a post-operative complication. CT and MRI imaging revealed a tumor on her right adrenal gland. She is currently at St. V’s for further diagnostics. Her projected plan of care includes radical nephrectomy and treatment based on the results of testing done on the tumor. Emily plans to pursue her ongoing care needs at the Cleveland Clinic or OSU.

Emily is a loving wife to Eric, dedicated mother to Cody, Tessa, Emma and Julia and beloved daughter, sister, and friend.

Serving as a nurse for the last 28 years she has touched the lives of many in our community. Emily is the embodiment of selflessness; a helper to any person (and animal) in need.

While the details of what’s to come are still unknown, it is abundantly clear the impending medical and associated expenses will be significant for Emily and her family.
