Support Emily Shipman & Her Baby's Journey to Recovery

I’m reaching out today to ask for your support for Emily Shipman, who is facing one of the most difficult chapters of her life. Emily is a loving mother, dedicated business owner, and a true fighter. She has recently undergone fetal surgery for her son, who has been diagnosed with spina bifida. While the surgery was a success and critical step to give her baby the best chance at a healthy future, it’s only the beginning of a long and difficult journey.

As part of her recovery process, Emily now faces the unexpected challenge of needing to stay in Miami for several months (December-February) until she delivers her baby, due to being at high risk during the rest of her pregnancy. This means being away from her family, her home, and her business, Bella Laine that she has worked incredibly hard to build. She is deeply concerned about how this extended absence will impact her livelihood.

In addition to the mounting medical costs, Emily is also facing the overwhelming financial strain of paying for extended accommodation, travel expenses, and the cost of living in a city where she doesn’t have her usual support system. These expenses, combined with the uncertainty of her business situation, are adding to the stress of an already difficult time.
