Support Emily's Final Expenses
Donation protected
In June, Emily had a growth appear in her mouth. Her dentist sent her to a specialist who removed it and sent it to pathology. A few days later, several lumps began to appear in other places. She began looking for treatment options and had made an appointment with a cancer center. But within days, Emily went to the ER because the tumors were growing rapidly and pain became intolerable. She had a rare form of blood cancer that aggressively spread through her body. One week later, everything crashed.
Two days ago, on Saturday, July 27, 2024, with family and friends in her ICU room, life-support was removed and within two minutes, she breathed her last breath and peacefully left this world.
But left behind were devastated loved ones and a mound of bills. As a young woman, Emily was healthy and strong! So, she chose to forgo health and life insurance, believing there was no need for it until later.
Six days before she died, Emily asked me to create a GoFundMe page because she would not be able to work while undergoing treatments and was concerned about paying her bills. Of course now she needs it for a different reason.
Can you help with Emily’s final expenses? Any amount given would mean more than you know. Your generosity and kindness would mean so much to her.
As you know, Emily Deese was the sweetest, most precious soul in the world. Everyone who knew her knew this. Her generosity and kindness was evident to all. And boy, could she make you laugh! She always had a smile on her face and wanted everyone around her to have a smile on theirs. And if it was up to her, that was happening!
Thank you for your generosity and support during this very difficult time.
