HI FRIENDS AND FAMILY! ✨
I'm super excited (and a little nervous!) to share that I will be going on my very first missions trip this summer with my church, Island Community Church. This June, I'll be serving alongside Kirk & Michelle Lightfield (two of ICC's Missions Partners) in Chimaltenango, Guatemala, a region with many physical and spiritual needs!
This trip is much more than just travel — it's an incredible opportunity to walk in obedience to God's call by serving others and sharing the hope and love of Jesus through the gospel!
OUR MISSION INCLUDES:
- Building homes for families in neighboring communities
- Serving in orphanages — playing with, teaching, and caring for the children
- Distributing food and basic necessities to those in need
- Relational evangelism - connecting personally with people, hearing their stories, and sharing the love and hope of Jesus
This opportunity is incredibly humbling. I know I can't do this alone - and I don't want to. I'm inviting you to be part of this journey with me through prayer and financial support.
WHY I'M GOING
John 13:34-35 commands us to love one another as the Lord first loved us. This commandment has always deeply resonated within my heart. The Lord loves us so well, and I desire to be a vessel of his unconditional love - to love all his people tangibly and intentionally. To show up for those in need. I believe that when we step out of our comfort zones, God does amazing things — both in the lives of others and in our own hearts. I'm expectant, I'm grateful, and I'm ready to serve.
HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT ME:
1. PRAYER
Please pray for me to be spiritually, emotionally, and physically prepared for this mission. Pray that God
would work in and through me — that I would be bold, humble, and full of love as I serve. Pray for the people we will encounter, that their hearts would be open to Jesus and that they would know they are seen, known, and deeply loved by God.
2. FINANCIAL SUPPORT
To make this trip possible, I need to raise $1,950 by May 25th. This covers airfare, housing, meals, ministry supplies, and more. If you feel led to support me financially, any amount truly helps and will go directly towards this mission.
