Support Emma Rosa Acosta's Memorial Fund

Our mother, Emma Rosa Acosta, a strong believer in Christ, a beautiful soul, and the most caring neighbor, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024, surrounded by her family singing and showing her the utmost love. She leaves behind a husband, 3 adult children, and 5 grandchildren.

Emma began experiencing autoimmune symptoms in 2015. After years of misdiagnoses and non-answers to what her illness could be, she was diagnosed with a rare condition called Cryoglobulinemic glomerulonephritis (GN) in 2023.

Our mom was a woman of simple, yet profound pleasures. She loved walks on the beach, dancing to bachata, and crocheting gifts that warmed her loved ones' hearts. Her favorite color was purple, she had a soft spot for maple walnut ice cream, and she found joy in the warmth of Hallmark movies. Emma will always be remembered for her fervent faith, motherly spirit, kindhearted demeanor, and the care she had for anyone who needed it. Whether you were one of her children's friends, a colleague, met her in the church, or even while out shopping, Emma never missed an opportunity to connect with people and extend God's love to others.

After a slew of long hospitalizations throughout her final years, our mom's position at her job was eliminated, leaving her without benefits and income. These funds will go towards helping with end-of-life costs, medical bills, and other costs associated with her unexpected passing.
