Support Emma's New Start!

Hi all,

My name is Molly and I'm starting this fundraiser to help Emma. We know her, we love her, and the county has refused her medical exemption. She is one of the best defense investigators in the state, if not the nation, and so I'm hoping everyone will pitch in to help her start her own Private Investigator Agency.

If you don't have money to contribute, then perhaps you could help with office supplies, business resources, or even just an introduction to private attorneys who could use her services. There are very few local PIs with Emma's breadth of experience with major criminal cases, and those same skills would be useful in civil cases as well. While DPD is losing Emma, the legal community at large has gained a huge asset.

The money being raised will go towards her WA State Private Investigation Agency License, a WA Business License, the necessary bonding and insurance, and the immediate purchase of equipment: for example, Emma will need a high-powered laptop, a business phone line, office equipment, a DSLR camera, and more. Direct donations of those items would be amazing. $5k is just an estimate of what these things will cost.

This is going to be an amazing new start for Emma. It's bittersweet to lose her job, but becoming a P.I. will let her flourish fully and show everyone what she's capable of... which is far more than DPD allowed.
