Let’s Help Em Get Back on Her Feet!
Hi Everyone!
My name is Bex, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my amazing friend, Em, who could really use our help right now.
On January 22, 2025, Em broke her foot and has been told she’ll need to be non-weightbearing for at least 4 to 6 weeks. Recovery will also require physical therapy, and there’s a possibility she won’t be able to take on her usual odd jobs to supplement her disability income for up to three months.
For those who don’t know, Em wears many hats—she runs her own dog training business, hosts a wonderful dog-focused podcast, and cleans houses several days a week to make ends meet. Cleaning is her main source of income, and unfortunately, being unable to walk has made that impossible for now.
On top of medical bills and everyday expenses, Em now faces the additional challenge of needing extra help to care for her two beloved dogs, Toby and Fitz, during her recovery. Both dogs mean the world to her, and ensuring they’re well cared for is a top priority.
As someone who always gives 100% to her work, her clients, and her community, Em is now in a tough spot financially. That’s where we come in.
I’m hoping to raise funds to help Em cover her expenses during this difficult time, including medical bills, physical therapy, household costs, and a dog walker for Toby and Fitz, so she can focus on healing without the added stress of worrying about how to make ends meet.
Any contribution—big or small—will make a huge difference. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser to spread the word. And if you’ve ever thought about working with a dog trainer, Em is still offering virtual sessions during her recovery, so feel free to reach out to her for help with your pup!
Thank you so much for supporting someone who brings so much love and care to the dog community and beyond. Let’s show Em she’s not alone in this!
With gratitude,
Bex
