Support Eric Fennell's battle

Donation protected
The Fennell family is asking for the community Eric worked hard to protect for years to now return the favor during his time of need.

Eric Fennell served Kern County for 31 years as a Deputy Sheriff before retiring in 2010.

Eric has been suffering from congestive heart failure and was admitted to Bakersfield Memorial Hospital in early July.  After his case worsened, he was transferred to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.  It was determined he is in need of a heart transplant and is undergoing the tests and prep necessary to be  placed on the list.

Meanwhile,  his family is dealing with the ever-growing financial hardship caused by this.  The costs associated with this procedure will far outpace any that insurance will cover.  Eric's family is humbly asking this community and those who know him if they will help defray some of these costs.

Whatever you can do to help is sincerely appreciated by the family and will never be forgotten.
