Support Eric Harmon: A Life of Giving, Now in Need

Donation protected
We begin in the name of the Creator, He whose will is established in Earth and Heaven. May His peace descend upon those whom this message reaches, may He rectify your affairs and guide us all to the path towards His favor and mercy.

This is being established for Eric Harmon (Abdus Sabur), a man known for relieving others from their distress and placing their burdens upon his shoulders. A man known for filling the hearts of people with happiness and giving so much of his own heart to increase the joy around him. Throughout his life, he has been known as someone whom you could trust with your family, you could trust with your wealth, and whom you could trust with your thoughts. If you had a problem and needed advice, he has always been a person to advise as best as he can, and to speak goodness and positivity upon a person. He is one who has been known to defend a person in their absence, and to correct them and himself when in error. If he knows you are in need, and he has what you need, then you have it as well. A man who truly has committed himself to trying to live up to the purpose of his life, worshipping his Creator through his earthly actions.

Unfortunately for him (but perhaps fortunately for those who are generous and charitable seeking our Lord’s mercy and love) Eric has suffered a traumatic injury. While at work he fell backwards from his Tractor Trailer and severely injured his spinal cord. He had to have an emergency 4 hour surgery to relieve the pressure on his spine to make sure no more serious damage continued. He is currently in the ICU. Due to the extensive damage to his C3-C5 vertebrae, the doctors have said that even after the surgery he is permanently paralyzed from his arms to his legs. And the possibility of regaining any movement is slim to none. But GOD knows better. We're hopeful with acute physical therapy he can regain some movement and no longer need ventilator support. He has a trach now and feeding tube. He can breathe on his own for up to 4 hours which is good news. He has a long road to recovery ahead of him and he understands that.

Prayers to our Creator for his health and well-being are needed first and foremost, and for the peace of his family who are supporting him through this tough time. Secondly, if you can find it within your heart to donate something towards this man, no matter how big or small, who has sacrificed so much in his life for others, we would be grateful. We ask that our Maker bestow upon you the goodness of this world and the next. Bills that will need to be covered currently and, in the future, include hospital bills, emergency transportation from the site of the accident, current day to day expenses for his family, who had been relying on him as the provider of the household. Any funds received from this will go directly to his wife, to help them through this trial and those to come.
