Erika Rangel Leon, she was a wife, a mother, grandmother, and friend, whose warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Her presence would light up even the darkest room. Throughout her life Erika was known for her unwavering support and care for her family, she was the heart of our home, always ensuring that everyone felt loved and cherished. If you came over, she would offer you food and never took a no for an answer. She dedicated her life to her family and community of Rupert. She was so deeply involved in St. Nicholas and their activities, that they would do for the Virgin Mary. She is survived by her husband Isidro Juarez, her 5 children; Aimee (Andres Garcia), Tania, Allan, Maria and Alex, who will continue to honor her memory and the values she instilled in them. Her grandchild Adalanii will remember her as a joyful and loving grandmother who always had a smile on her face and hugs to offer. Unfortunately, on Monday 8/14/24, Erika suffered a sudden stroke. She lost oxygen to the brain, and even though the medical staff at Portneuf Medical Center did everything they could, the impact was to much for Erika to take. Today, Wednesday 8/14/24, Erika gained her wings. On behalf of her surviving husband and kids, a GoFund me has been created. The donations for this GoFund me will be going to the family to help with any costs. Any contribution no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and will help us honor Erika’s memory with a proper farewell.
