Support Erik's Recovery and Family Needs

Hi, my name is Alexa. I have created this GoFund me account for my husband, Erik. On June 19th, Erik was run over by a suspect as he was attempting an arrest. Due to the accident, Erik sustained several injuries, which included a broken femur that needed to be repaired by a surgical procedure. Currently, he is still recovering in the hospital with no news as to when he will be released. After he is released, he will need to stay at a physical therapy rehabilitation center for about 1-2 weeks.

During this process, we will be needing to obtain medical equipment for our home to make his recovery as easy as possible. Throughout his recovery, he will be out of work for about 6 months, which will definitely put a damper in our financial needs. Together, Erik and I have a beautiful one-year-old daughter.
