Support Ernie and Debi Evans after RV Accident
Donation protected
On the way South from the Cherokee Bluegrass Festival, Ernie and Debbi Evans Had an road accident that left their RV trailer destroyed along other damages to their van. This is their mobile work station and home away from home, its where all the magic happens planning and running awesome bluegrass festivals everywhere. Ernie's done a lot of good to our music scene, I think we should all come together and lift them up! Please give and pass along to your fellow EMS Festival fan or artists or friend.
Statement from Ernie Evans: "Debi and I were in an accident right around the North Carolina and South Carolina line heading South on 26. We are okay and uninjured despite being a little bit shaken up and left in an unfortunate situation. Thank God nobody else was involved or injured. Our van can be repaired, but the camper that we lived in at the festivals, kept our dog in, and hauled equipment with, has been completely destroyed.
Since the challenges brought on Covid, we have been climbing back uphill. Festivals seem to be picking up momentum and looking more and more like they will return to normal. As much of a set back as it was after covid, we just dug both feet in and pushed forward. This may be another setback but it will not kill our spirit. We will rebuild and continue the work and vision we have.
God was looking out for us and has blessed us with the ability to be able to walk away from the wreckage to start over and that is just what we will do. We are determined to work even harder to finish what we have set out to do. Fans, bands and venues are counting on us and we will do all we can to never let any of you down."
Funds go straight to Ernie and Debbi towards processing disposal of totaled RV and in benefit of a future mobile office
