Help for Ernie after Hurricane Beryl destroyed his dream.

Hi! my name is Brittni Muirhead, I am Ernie's eldest daughter. We recently had a traumatizing disaster when Hurricane Beryl destroyed our family home Treasure Beach Inn located in Saint Elizabeth Jamaica.

My late Grand Father, Ernest Muirhead built this home for his family and eventually was made into a beach cottage.

My father then took this property over in 2018 and started renovations as it was a dream to one day continue building on his father's legacy but to create a legacy of his own and for his kids.

On July 3rd, 2024, Hurricane Beryl with winds of 150 mph and regarded as a category 4 Hurricane ravaged through our town and little cottage which destroyed everything. The entire roof went and water started flooding the house.

My dad Ernie, if you know him well, has worked tirelessly throughout his life with his own business E. Security Alarm Systems for over 25 years, protecting and providing a safe environment for customers. He now provides a safe environment for guests to visit beautiful Jamaica since 2018 on this family property.

I also know that building back the family house to a profitable business where he provided a home away from home for tourists from all over the world was also a dream and a passion.

Seeing that dream obliterated during Beryl's fury hurted him to his core. He might not want to admit it to you, but he is my dad, I know he is devastated.

I assured my dad he would rebuild and he would rebuild stronger and better than before. I reminded him of some of the advice he has given us on perseverance and following your dreams. He is a true entrepreneur. I know he needs us now and we intend to help but I ask for your help today also as this is a monumental task, and a long road of expenses. Please anything helps as I try to help him get his dream back. My dad is a good person, a great father and husband.
