“Urgent: help our family escape death from gaza

My name is Eslam, and I live in Gaza with my husband and our 9-year-old son. The relentless violence has forced us to be displaced multiple times since October, moving from north Gaza to Nusirat camp, then to Deir al Balah, and now to Rafah. We face the urgent need to evacuate once more as danger draws nearer by the second. Our journey to parenthood was marked by immense trials, including years of heartbreaking infertility and the physical, financial, and emotional strain of IVF treatment. Our son is not just our ray of hope but also a symbol of our family’s resilience. Yet, the horrors unfolding in Gaza fill us with constant fear for his safety. We aim to raise $50,000 to evacuate to Turkey, where we hope to start afresh. The cost of evacuating two adults (my husband and myself) is $5,000 per person, and $3,000 for our son, plus additional expenses for documents and temporary stay in Egypt while we provide for ourselves and await reunification with my brother in Turkey. Your support will not only help us escape Gaza but also enable us to begin anew and regain stability.
