Almost immediately, he noticed smoke coming from the engine. Within seconds, flames began to engulf the car.

With incredible calm and quick action, Esteban managed to get his family out before the fire completely consumed the vehicle, both inside and out. Fortunately, everyone escaped unharmed, but the car—his primary work tool and main means of transportation—was completely destroyed.

This vehicle was not just a way to get around; it was an essential part of Esteban and his family’s daily life. It allowed him to work, take his daughters to school and soccer practice, and support his household. Now, they face enormous challenges in moving forward without this vital resource.

Unfortunately, the car insurance does not cover the loss, and Esteban does not have the financial means to replace it—he still owed a portion of its value. That is why we turn to you today, hoping you can help us give them a fresh start.

El 18 de enero, mi hermano Esteban vivió uno de los momentos más aterradores de su vida. Mientras conducía con su esposa y su pequeña hija de 11 años, devolviéndose de un torneo de fútbol, iban atravesando por Palisades Interestatal Parkway y de pronto el vehículo se detuvo. Al instante, comenzó a notar algo de humo saliendo del motor de su vehículo. En cuestión de segundos, las llamas empezaron a invadir el auto.

Con mucha calma y rapidez, Esteban logró sacar a su familia antes de que el fuego consumiera por completo el carro, tanto por fuera como por dentro.
