Support Eva Monti Sardo's Stroke Recovery
Donation protected
My mother, Eva Monti Sardo, is a loving wife, mother, grandmother and loyal friend. She is the mother of 5 sons, and 2 daughters. She has 2 beautiful granddaughters. She is also known for being a massive animal lover with 1 dog, 2 cats and 2 horses.
On February 2nd 2025, she suffered a life-threatening pontine stroke that left her completely unresponsive within seconds. She was rushed to the hospital, where doctors fought to save her life, eventually placing her in a medically induced coma. She spent over two and a half weeks on life support, and by the grace of God, she woke up—still dependent on support, unable to speak, with permanent hearing loss, paralysis, and difficulty swallowing.
Eva spent months between hospitals and rehab facilities. Unfortunately, when insurance would no longer cover her care, she had to come home unprepared and still in great need of assistance. Her husband (my father) has been out of work to care for her full-time, creating a massive financial strain.
We now face the challenge of funding essential needs like:
• A home personal care assistant
• Medical supplies and equipment
• Physical therapy sessions
• A hearing aid for her hearing loss
Any donation, big or small, will help relieve the heavy financial burden on our family and support my mother’s recovery. If you’re unable to donate, we ask that you please keep Eva in your prayers during this difficult time.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support!
