Support Evan & Celia After Eaton Wildfire
Donation protected
On Wednesday, January 8th, two creative, kind, and wonderful people—Evan & Celia—lost their home and all of their belongings in the Eaton wildfire in Altadena, CA.
Evan & Celia are both talented artists/musicians who lost their gear and equipment (their livelihood), their entire vinyl collections, family heirlooms, and everything else in their home (furniture, art, clothing, books, plants, sentimental keepsakes, etc).
While many things remain uncertain, we are asking for immediate support to cover their temporary housing, critical items, and general aid for their next chapter, knowing they will need to slowly build back their lives from scratch.
If you’ve had the chance to meet Evan & Celia, you know their generosity and care knows no bounds. Now it’s time for us, their community, to show them how beloved they are to us. Please give generously to support them as they forge a path forward.
As you can imagine, Evan and Celia are pretty overwhelmed right now. In addition, Celia's entire immediate family are evacuated from their own homes and awaiting updates. If you have any questions or want to be in touch with additional ways to support, please reach out to Iyla Shornstein and Ivan Cash (Evan's sister and cousin, respectively), who are organizing this fundraiser.
