Support Ever: the boy who swims with sharks
Donation protected
Ever is a 14-year old boy from a fishing village in northern Peru. Unlike his late father and his older brothers, he does not want to be a fisherman when he grows up. Instead, he dreams of becoming a marine biologist. For the last two years, Ever has been supporting local researchers studying whale sharks. Find out more about his work with the sharks in the upcoming documentary “Ever and the sharks”. Watch the trailer here: https://vimeo.com/918240550/d5e26cce64
There aren’t many opportunities for kids growing up in his village. We are asking for your help to open up new horizons and let them explore their potential. We are seeking US$15,000 over a three-year period to bring a qualified English teacher to the community, to provide lessons and academic support for Ever and his friends. A strong base in English will open doors for them and allow them to pursue their dreams. These may be to become marine biologists but who knows what else they may imagine?
