Support Eyal's recovery

Eyal Hadad, a 12th grade student at Walter Johnson High School, was struck by a car on Friday December the 13th morning while crossing the street to get on the school bus.

Eyal suffered a serious head injury. He went through a head surgery on Tuesday and is still in ICU.

The procedure went well and while he is still in a critical condition, his vital signs are stable with some encouraging indications for possible recovery.

This tragic accident touched us all here in the North Bethesda/Rockville community and even all the way back home in Israel. Many people are following and were broken hearted by this tragic event.

Eyal and his family have a long journey ahead of them.

We ask first and foremost for prayer. Pray for Eyal’s recovery!

As a community, we all want to offer a support system and therefore we decided to open this route of financial support for members of the community that are asking to take part in Eyal’s recovery.

It is very early to assess the exact needs and expenses at this time. However, the implications of this crisis on the family members fighting for Eyal, will have major impact on the family.

The Hadad family are completely overwhelmed by the love and encouragement they have received thus far.

As the family friends and community, we recognize that many would love to help in a tangible way. Your generous support will ease the burden on the family and help with any unexpected costs while fighting this battle.
