Support Eye Surgery for Aileen

Hello my name is Vanessa, I am trying to raise funds for my daughter’s eye surgery. We found out just recently that she has keratoconus on both of her beautiful eyes. Her left eye is worse than the right eye. Luckily we found out soon enough where there is no damage or scaring to her cornea. In order to protect her eyes from it progressing she needs CAIRS surgery to help with the disease and strengthening the cornea. In order for her to get this surgery done all though she does have insurance it does not cover any of it. All expense has to come out of pocket. Surgery per eye is 5,150 and this has to be paid upfront. She is the oldest, my first born having five siblings. She is an amazing big sister and daughter. She is the sweetest and most kind hearted young girl with big dreams. As a family we are trying to come up with the funds and get this surgery done as soon as possible due to trying to avoid this disease in progressing and risking my daughter from losing her eye sight.

The CAIRS eye surgery is a minimally invasive procedure that treats keratoconus. The benefits of this surgery it will improve her vision and quality of life. It can reduce/eliminate irregular astigmatism and it can help manage the progression of keratoconus.

Once funds are gathered and appointment is scheduled I will be posting updates and results. This is my first time ever asking for help, as hard as it is to come and ask this is to benefit my babygirl and her vision.
