It is with a heavy heart that we share the tragic and unexpected passing of Diego Soto and Ricardo Soto. On Sep 28th, 2024, Both brothers were involved in a fatal car accident.

Diego and Ricardo were driving the “Nissan Sentra that was traveling northbound and a Dodge Challenger that was driving southbound "at a high rate of speed." After gathering evidence and talking to witnesses, the CHP said the Dodge vehicle crossed over into the solid double yellow lines and crashed head onto the Nissan.”

Diego Soto and his family, (Wife Elizabeth, daughter Ailyn 16 and son Josue Diego 11) had just arrived from Mexico with a work visa. They were already having financial problems and they were hoping with this opportunity alleviate some of the financial burden.
Ricardo Soto is survived by his wife Maria de Jesus Íñiguez and 4 sons (20, 18, 14, 10) and 1 daughter (12).
They were the pillar of their families, and hardworking men who did everything to ensure their loved ones were cared for. As the primary providers for their families, Diego Soto and Ricardo Soto worked tirelessly to ensure that their loved ones were taken care of. Both brothers didn’t have any life insurance. Therefore their sudden loss has left an unimaginable void, both emotionally and financially.

This GoFundMe is being set up to help Diego Soto and Ricardo Soto with immediate financial burdens, including funeral expenses, memorial expenses and daily living costs. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go a long way in helping these families during this incredibly difficult time.

If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign with others would also be a tremendous help.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and support during this painful time. Your generosity will help provide some comfort and stability for this families facing unimaginable loss.

With deep gratitude,
The Family Soto
