Support Family of Charles Otto
Donation protected
The National Park Service and Lake Mead National Recreation Area lost one of its own on Saturday March 13 to suicide. Ranger Charles Otto was a Navy Veteran and such a talented Ranger in all aspects and was a mentor to many. Particularly he loved boating and firefighting. He worked for the National Park Service since 2009 at Yellowstone, Great Basin, and Lake Mead.
Charles leaves behind his wife Melanie, and two children, Emma (2 years) and Andrew (6 years). He is also survived by his mother Deb, father Gerry, and sister Bethany.
We are all shocked and saddened by his passing and realize that many people want to express their sympathy or condolences. We have initiated this page in order to help his family. Thank you all so much for all of your donations and thoughts and prayers.
