Support family of Kyla Hurst - Missing teen

Kyla’s former middle school teachers at Ocean Hill Collegiate in Brooklyn are raising money to support Kyla’s family as they search for Kyla and care for themselves during this difficult time.

Kyla is a wonderful kid - a dedicated student with a love of music and playing the guitar.

Kyla’s mom, Ms. Wilks, also became an important part of our OHC community - not only as an involved parent but also as a part-time member of our staff.

Kyla has been missing since Tuesday March 7 when last seen in Canarsie, Brooklyn. As a type 1 diabetic, she is at risk for diabetic shock. It’s believed she would have run out of insulin on Wednesday March 8.

Anyone with information about Kyla’s whereabouts should follow directions in fundraiser photo. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers.
