Support Family of Sgt. Candies Killed in the Line of Duty

Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that we share the tragic loss of Sgt. Grant Candies, who was killed in the line of duty on March 23rd while serving and protecting our community. Grant was not just a law enforcement officer but a devoted husband, loving father, Marine Corps veteran, and a trusted friend to so many.

For 9 years, Sgt. Candies dedicated his life to keeping us safe, putting his own safety second in order to protect and serve. He was named STPSO Deputy of the Year in 2023. His bravery and commitment to his work were unmatched, and his loss is felt deeply by all who knew him.

Grant leaves behind his wife, Courtney, and children, Brenna (13) and Bryson (8). In this devastating time of grief, his family needs our support more than ever. The financial burden of the loss of his income and the ongoing care of his family are overwhelming. We want to ensure that his loved ones have the support they need to get through this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, will be deeply appreciated.

Let’s honor the memory of Sgt. Candies by offering our support to those who meant the most to him. Together, we can make a difference in their lives and show that his sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Please share this campaign with your family, friends, and community. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.

Rest in Peace, Grant. You will always be remembered as a hero.

Information on services will be forthcoming.
