Hello Dear Friends and Family,
My name is Dominck and I am David Palomino’s youngest son. I come to you with unfortunate news. On March 7th my father was involved in a trip and fall accident at home which caused a severe neck injury with paralysis. He was rushed into surgery and is currently in recovery. However, the recovery process will be long. Currently he has lost the ability to move his legs and all normal function of his body. Please join us as we pray for a miracle and for successful therapies. My father will be released from the rehabilitation center on April 1st . We could not be happier to have him home. He is equally, if not more, excited to be in a loving environment. We come to you now, humbly asking for your contribution. Our most costly challenge is to adapt my parent’s home for my dad’s care. We need to
- Transform the bathroom into a fully functional handicap bathroom with rails and an easily accessible shower.
- There is also a need for ramps, rails, and a hoist which will help him get around and help us transfer him from his bed to a wheelchair.
- They also face incoming hospital bills.
- My dad’s care will require special physical therapists and occupational therapists
The family will be so thankful to get the house situated for my dad as soon as possible. As many of you know, my parents live on a fixed income from my dad’s retirement. All of this is to hopefully get him back on his feet. We pray for that time to come. Meanwhile, let’s remember my father’s charitableness and kind heart. He has in the past BBQ'D and fundraised for other friends and family. We can only hope that he is met with love at his time of great need. We know nothing is impossible with God.
