Support Faustino's Final Journey Home

Faustino Inocencio's life is a fine example of working-class values: hard work, perseverance, and commitment to family, community, and country.

He was an immigrant who loved and was proud of his new country, especially for the many opportunities it provided.

He worked all his life. For most of it, he worked as a press operator. However, because of his many responsibilities, he often had multiple side hustles, from plumber assistant to grocery clerk to delivery man.

My dad was not afraid to work hard not only to support his growing family but to be able to give back. He sent whatever extras to aid many from his hometown. Because he strongly believed in the Christian virtues of righteousness, piety, forgiveness, and helping others, he was able to treat everybody as extended family.

Like most people he was too busy with making a living to do much traveling. When he retired, mom and dad planned a long to visit to his homeland, after a score of years absence. Unfortunately time was not on his side. Shortly after he fell ill and it became unfeasible and even risky to travel abroad. After the kidney transplant and the operation for the brain tumor, his condition prevented him from traveling.

Dad, the example you set is not lost on your children. I've set up this memorial fund in your honor to help mom bring you back to your hometown.
