Support Feddy in attending & learning @ SynBioBeta

My name is Feddy Akello, a fresh graduate of Biomedical Laboratory Technology from Makerere University. I am seeking sponsorship to attend in person, the Synbiobeta conference happening in San Jose California from 6th to 9th May 2024.

My attendance will be a platform for meeting professionals and like-minded individuals with passion for synthetic biology and also an opportunity for me to tap into the knowledge in this space and thereafter share it with colleagues back here in Uganda, who are still unaware of the power of synthetic biology and its applications. I fortunately got an opportunity of a conference student grant that caters for the conference pass. However, I am not able to raise money for an plane ticket and accommodation while in California.

I am kindly requesting for support for a round trip ticket and accommodation while in San Jose. The estimated amount for the entire budget is 4000 euros (30,000 DKK). Any amount rendered toward this request is very much appreciated.

By sponsoring my attendance at the Synbiobeta conference, you will be contributing to the advancement of synthetic biology in Africa and investing in the future of biotechnology on the continent.
