Saturday, March 29th, 2025 at 2:46 p.m. I received a phone call from a Cherokee County Sherrif alongside the County Coroner who were standing on the front porch of my home. They began their introduction with an apology and then explained to me that my mother had passed.

My mother was a light in a dark narrow hallway. She was a friend and a mother to even more than my brother and I. All my friends growing up have a story. She was a character in her own movie and she forced a smile to many around her! She was so special and she shined so bright, but sadly her fight is now over and yesterday she went home to be with her parents, brother, sister, and all her loved ones that have gone before her. Heaven is getting crowded by so many we all care so much for.

Due to the sudden nature of this heartbreaking loss, I have found myself a little short on the amount needed to bring my mother home. Arrangements are being made for my mother's cremation and we're looking to have a Celebration of Life back home in Tennessee here in the next few weeks. If everyone can please consider the part my mother played in your lives knowing that if she knew you, she loved you, and she prayed for you. If you can find it in your heart to extend a blessing in her name so I can make sure her remains are where they need to be, My whole family along with myself will be forever grateful.

P.s. x2 - The amount of sympathy extended to me everytime I talk to anyone at Cheorkee County has truly meant the world to me and my family. I thank them for all their hard work handling my mothers case.
