Help Fijian Scouts Reach the Auckland Jamboree!

I have created this GoFund Me page on behalf of six bright-eyed Fijian boys and their dedicated teacher. They have received an incredible invitation to attend the 23rd Scout Jamboree in Auckland, New Zealand on Dec 30th 2023 for 2 weeks, and they need your support to make this dream come true.

These boys, hailing from a small village called Soso in the Yasawa Islands in Fiji, have shown immense dedication to the values of scouting, learning important life skills, and serving their community. The opportunity to attend the Jamboree is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for them to expand their horizons, learn from scouts around the world, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

The 23rd Scout Jamboree in Auckland is an international gathering of scouts from all corners of the globe. It provides a unique platform for cultural exchange, fostering friendship, and learning from different perspectives. This event promises to be an enriching experience for these young minds, helping them grow as responsible, well-rounded individuals.

However, attending an international event like the Jamboree comes with significant financial challenges. The cost of travel, scout uniforms and Jamboree fees, and the event itself is beyond the means of their small village and the families of these scouts. That's why we're reaching out to you for help.

The boys have been fundraising within their local community with walkathons and BBQ's. Some of the surrounding resorts are also assisting to make this dream possible.
