Support Finn's Journey to Health and Healing

We recently found out that the treatment that had been working so well at keeping my nephew Finn's brain tumor smaller and stable has stopped working. Diagnosed at age 6, Finn has shown incredible strength and resilience as he battles the brain tumor. After nearly 18 months of treatment and 2 brain surgeries, their family has found themselves in need of some help and support.

After considering all of the treatment options, they have decided that they will travel to Memphis on October 13th where Finn will undergo a long and high risk surgery to remove his tumor. They have immense faith in the neurosurgeon who has been able to help cases like Finn’s that have been deemed “inoperable”. Because his tumor is located near the part of his brain that controls both sight and movement of his left side, the recovery could take days, weeks, or months and potentially he may not regain full use of these functions. While they are hopeful the removal of the tumor will put an end to the potential of years of strong treatments, the risks are significant, and the emotional toll on their family is overwhelming. They have been through so much already, and the uncertainty ahead is daunting.

Any contribution made will go directly to the family to ease their financial burden and will allow Kate and Vince to focus on Finn’s recovery and the well being of Finn’s siblings, Evie and Eli.
