Support Fiona Turberville's second chance

My name is Jodi Kaltenbacher and I am setting up this go fund me to help support my best friend Fiona Turberville. Many of you received the very watered down version of Fiona's recent hospitalization. I sincerely hope you understand why I wasn't able to speak about more of her story at the time. All my focus was on getting her the best care and sharing exactly what she was comfortable with at the time.

On the evening of May 1st, 2022, our beloved Fiona made a heartbreaking decision that nearly cost her life. Thank goodness the stars aligned and loved ones were able to assist in time to get her the help she desperately needs.

As many of you know the last 2+yrs have taken a toll economically on many of us.

Fiona is self-employed and if she is not working she is not getting paid. She has had a hard time building her business back up since that time and that has contributed tremendously to her stress level.

Fiona's talent is outstanding. She has for years shared her love and light with all of us. Fiona always makes us feel important and beautiful spending time in her salon chair, in her home feeding us or even lending her ear in our time of need. Meanwhile she struggled internally in silence. Perhaps, unaware of how serious her fight to stay above water was because she always seemed to make us laugh til we almost peed our pants, crafting an atmosphere of fun times and special memories.

I have immense admiration for Fiona. The adversity she has had to bear as a member of the LBGT+ community all these years is commendable. She is a trailblazer of sorts. She is living her truth and accepting of everyone. If you are fortunate enough to be part of her life you know how truly special she is.

This fundraiser will help her to continue on her life path of sobriety and self care as she takes one day at a time to battle her demons with your contribution.
