Support Firas's Family with Basic Needs and Evacuation

Hi, my name is Laura and I am creating this campaign on behalf of my friend Firas in Gaza who I communicate with daily. This money will go directly to Firas Mohammadin and his family to provide them with their basic needs such as food, water and evacuation fees.

Hi, my name is Firas, I am 22 years old and I am from Gaza. I am from North Gaza and currently displaced in South Gaza with my family. I am responsible for my family and providing them with food and water, which is very expensive and hard to find here. I have a mother, father, two sisters and three brothers. I am very scared for them and my other family who are still in the North. We want to evacuate and start a new life in a safe place where my brothers can go to school and my family can get basic needs. It is very exhausting to live in this difficult situation for 12 months and suffer every day. In Gaza, every day is exhausting and dangerous and the conditions are getting worse.

Please donate so I can provide food and water for my family and get them to a safe place, God willing.

Before the war, I started working in a car repair shop and was about to start my career. But the events of October 7th changed everything. The ongoing occupation stripped him of his dreams, and left everything he built in ruins. Despite these overwhelming difficulties, Firas’ spirit remained resilient. He worked tirelessly to raise enough money to bring food and evacuate his family from the devastation when the Rafah crossing opened.

For months, Firas has been reaching out to the world, making heartfelt videos, and begging for help.

Now, Firas needs our help to get his family out of Gaza. He is one of the kindest and most generous people you will ever meet, always willing to help others. Let us come together to support Firas in this critical time, and ensure that he is able to rebuild his life once the borders are opened. Time is of the essence.

Here is Firas’s message to the world:

“Despite my embarrassment, I have been compelled to write this letter after much confusion and hesitation. I am writing to share the story of our family from Gaza. Following the recent bombing, our home, which was home to nine people, including eight adults and a child, was completely destroyed. We are currently living in the city of Deir al-Balah, living in a single room, without access to basic necessities such as food and water. We are seeking assistance for our family in Gaza. The government has requested $5,000 per person to facilitate our exit through the crossing. While this is a large sum, any contribution, no matter how small, will go a long way.

Please stand in solidarity with Firas and his family during this difficult time. The occupation seems to be non-stop, and once the borders are opened, we will need to evacuate immediately. Your support can make a huge difference. May God bless you endlessly. Thank you.
